I was approached by an agency to create a can design for MU Coffee, a brand that sources its coffee beans from Peru. To reflect the rich cultural heritage and unique origins of the coffee, I drew inspiration from the Paracas Textiles Collection, a series of intricate, embroidered textiles from Peru.

• Illustration Creation: I developed three distinct illustrations inspired by the shapes, textures, and composition of the Paracas textiles. Each illustration was carefully crafted to evoke the vibrant and traditional Peruvian craftsmanship, bringing an authentic touch to the coffee brand's identity.

• Colour Variations: I created three colour variations to give the designs a versatile, dynamic look while staying true to the earthy, organic tones associated with coffee and the natural landscape of Peru. These colours were chosen to complement the rich cultural references in the illustrations.

• Incorporation of Coffee Beans: To further tie the design to the product, I incorporated coffee beans into the illustrations, subtly blending them with the textile patterns. This detail helped to reinforce the coffee’s origins and the connection between the product and its heritage.

The final design effectively blends the artistry of Peruvian textiles with the essence of MU Coffee, creating a visually striking and culturally rich can design that stands out on the shelves while telling the story of the coffee’s origins.
